I have pivoted so many times to finally find what I am aimed to do. Help people to grow their companies that later help other people.

I started my first company when I was 18 when I organised my first nightclub event, I knew back then that music business was what I wanted to work with so I continued that path by studying music & event management and later music business in Los Angeles. Right before I left off to LA in 2012 I came up with my first idea of Rhythm Travels. An online travel agency for festivals and music to advance music tourism. After my second semester I decided that I would keep the money for the third semester to invest it in my new venture. That was the start of a complete transformation of myself and my intellect.

I pivoted about 8 times to find the market need and it showed they needed better marketing tools for event organisers. I got joined several “start-your own company” courses, I joined mentor programs and got accepted to two business incubators Brewhouse and Chalmers Ventures Start-up camp. The latter one was the one who really transformed me by throwing my business plan away and really imprinted the Lean Start Up Methodology into my brain. When I finally understood the concept it was so obvious that that’s how you start a business but it also made me frustrated that nowhere else of all the courses I’ve went to was this taught.

My biggest hurdle with Rhythm Travels was to find a web developer to join the team and build this together so after many years I finally moved on from it. Still with my head up because the 5 years was my own MBA. It learned me the fundamentals of online marketing, content creation, basic html, lean method, venture pitching, accounting, time management, mental health and the most precious of that is that I found my love to learn! I love learning about business on how to improve businesses and becoming a better entrepreneur.

Having Rhythm Travels I came in contact with the owner of the label House Music With Love in Malmö, Sweden. He was getting requests to do PR campaign for music festivals and artist releases but he himself didn’t have the time. This is where I saw my opportunity to enter the music business. I got the job and made a couple of great campaigns for artists such as LIFELIKE, Mountain Bird, Swim and festivals such as Sonus festival. I eventually noticed that working alone wasn’t what I was looking for even if the job was fun, I wanted coworkers.

Nomad Inn is my unexpected venture, in fall 2016 I was looking for an office desk to rent and I came across The Nomad Inn that used temporary empty office spaces as coworking spaces. This was run by three women making a research for Chalmers University to research the sustainability of having empty offices in the city of Gothenburg while many freelancers and entrepreneurs where still working from home, not being able to afford the high-rents of having an workplace.

Their essay ended and the opportunity arose for me to take over it. Since I liked the idea and needed a space for myself I couldn’t say no to this. Using the last capital of Rhythm Travels I officially took over the business in April 2017. I got taken aback by the summer low season. Nobody wanted to rent an office during the summer and half of my renters took the summer off and cancelled the agreement to come back after the summer. During this time I panicked, I needed to find another source of revenue and the idea of creating a Udemy course hit me, I combined my knowledge from the music industry and lean methodology to create ‘How to become a full-time artist and get ‘1000 true fans’. I created this course within two weeks and recorded it in the course of two days.

I lost a lot of capital during the summer and I was now struggling to survive and it finally came to an end in December 2017. It was a great chance and learning experience. Got a chance to really try out my knew learned knowledge but very short time. It resulted in three interviews with online magazines using my skills learned from House Music With Love.

By having Nomad Inn I got offered the chance to become the host of Start Up Bar Göteborg. A meet up at a hotel bar where entrepreneurs of all ages came to hang out and network. I wasn’t really the mingle guy so being the host really put me out of my comfort zone, now I had to talk to everyone! Great experience with lots of great conversations.

My dream is to be able to continue feeding my love to learn and then be able to share my knowledge to other people. Help them grow their businesses and themselves as their product/service later will help other people.
